about

About a year and a half ago, i found myself writing a lot of songs at about 3:00 am. It's a magical time of night. Especially on a Tuesday or something. The world feels empty. I love it.

As these late night songs piled up, i really started to feel a vibe developing in the music, almost as if it was capturing the space it was being written it. So i tried to hone in on that, and Quiet Light is what came out.

This is one of those mini albums or LPs or something. I don't know, it's like half an hour, and best enjoyed as a full listen in my opinion. Ideally at night, at home, relaxed, and alone, on a nice pair of headphones. I mean, that would be ideal in my mind, but i think you get the vibe.

Hope you like it.

Dust & Pollen Seattle, Washington

Dust: In a way, dust is everything. Cosmic dust I mean. If you go back far enough into the past, everything originated as mere dust.

Pollen: Aesthetically similar to dust, pollen is responsible for the reproduction of much of the life on this earth.

Together, these two substances represent life. The material which built it, and that which keeps it going.
